AAP mail a day before LS result

Content of a mail from AAP just a day before LS result..read on...

Dear Dr Amit,
Thank you for all your support in the Lok Sabha 2014 elections.  In these elections we have brought AAP to the National level by fielding over 430 candidates and it is all because of your efforts.  With people like you joining hands together, a new and better India with zero tolerance for corruption, accountable governance and development that benefits all sections of society is no longer a distant dream.
Our journey together does not end with any one election no matter what the results are.  This change will not happen in a day and this fight will continue.  We need your support in the long term and I am sure that having put in this much effort in this election, you like me, will not rest till we have fully achieved our vision of “Swaraj”.  Future generations depend on us to save the nation from the clutches of corruption and lack of governance.
AAP is an organization that was forced by circumstances to form quickly and faced many challenges.  In a year and a half we have formed the party, fought two elections and formed the government in Delhi.  We have achieved a lot in a short span of time without the luxury of adequate time to build a strong national organization.  We hope to change that now and focus on building a strong and robust organization across the country with the ability to engage all the wonderful people who want to support this cause in meaningful way.
Volunteers are the strength of this party and we appreciate your untiring efforts to help our candidates in ground campaigning and all other campaign activities.  Even those who worked remotely or behind the scenes provided incredible value in this fight for clean politics.  Please stay engaged with us in the long term and together we will build an organization that we can all be proud of.

D Day b4 D-Day!

With curtains down on promos, d nation awaits the showbitz now..
Though m not a gr8 fan of Exit polls ( Ek-Shitt polls!!  ), I liked the results anyway..

1) NDA getting a working majority is indeed a reprieve for a coalition-sick nation wherein accomodating all seems to take off d steam.

2) Congress deserved to loose much more than BJP deserved to win..
nice to see nearly all polls predicting its double digits drumming..

3) My most feared possibily is to see d third front gripping power with all its khichdi politics..n to see someone like Mulayam as PM..yukkk!!
Thank heavens, no such projections made..

4) N I guess d best in store is for AAP..
No, its not digit count here that matters..
the percentage of votes n d presenting opportunity henceforth does need to b underlined..

first n foremost, no belaying of high expectations now when results r declared..watever it turns out to b, it wont b heartbreaking..
(underdogs can only win, nothing to loose!)

Also it gets an opportunity to build up an organisational scaffolding pan-India, sincerely woven around its ideology..
opportunity to let go of opportunistic intruders who joined in after Delhi success for their self interests..
opportunity to show others wat we really mean by constructive opposition..
opportunity to set examples of sincere work that can b done by a sitting MP of a region..
Though I firmly believe that AAP wud surely get seats in double digits, yet its failure to get even that isnt quite an dampener..
Rome wasnt built in a day..
Only patience, perseverence n purpose pays in the long run to bring abt the changes that last d longest..

2mrw comes the D-day..
Awaiting d realisation of two of my three dreams of this political year..
to see Modi as PM and AAP earning itself a national party status!!

N as toppings, I would love to see AK beating NaMo in Kashi & RaGa biting d dust in Amethi!

Mother's Day for NaMo!

Was wondering if Our Motherland's self proclaimed caring son NaMo really gave his biological mother a minute of media-vihin n un-reapable mental coverage this Mother's Day!!..
The rule of contradictions rule his world, at least for his mom..
While he as CM himself enjoys the comforts of two big bungalows in Ahmedabad, which he keeps renovating as per his refined tastes of high living..His own mother in late eighties lives in a single room of 8X8..
While he moves around in a cavalcade of high segment A/C cars n private jets..His mother who can hardly walk without a stick is made to take an auto for voting..
Yes agreed, that really made a 'gud' publicity poster for BJP..bt at the cost of an ailing mother!!!??
With his own 'Personal' assets of over a crore, why doesn't he find his own mother worthy of his physical or even financial care..
With a considerable section pinning their hopes on him, I earnestly wish to see my apprehensions gettin blown away..
N hope NaMo proves himself to b real son of the soil instead of a mere 'Type A' ambitious personality..

A Treadmill Experiment

                                                       A Treadmill Experiment..

Today I decided to go on with my brisk walking on treadmill till i myself call it off, WITHOUT looking at the distance/time display of the treadmill..
N I was almost astonished at the result..8.5 kms!!..more than twice d usual average run of abt 3.5 kms..
there were moments when d progressively increasing soreness of muscle nearly made me give up..but donno wat unlike my regular days, decided to  hang on..n these trying phasic moments were 'soon' followed by quite an easy 'anaesthic' walk! :)

Introspecting now, was wondering if the consciousness/wariness of the outcome really affect our performance..Isnt this trying phase phenomenon applicable with nearly everything we face..Even a ocean is far more easy to swim after the initial waves..u just need to have faith in self n keep moving head..Isnt it!?

N When i unloaded from the treadmill, I could barely stand with all d twitchings and cramps ..but i was all smiles..N then like a flash, the words of Karl Marx echoed in my mind.."The only antidote of mental suffering is physical pain"..Though i wud haved love to offer my mental modification. but certaily NOT today i.e 5th may..Happy B'day Karl Marx!!.. :)
