Being a RePublic gave the real power of propelling our destiny to us, the Indian Public .
But looks like it failed to impart the sense of wisdom and responsibility that came with this sweeping power.
It has been around 7 decades.
Despite all being in tatters, hardly ever any peoples's upsurge for basics like good primary education, affordable healthcare and strict sense of security,

Personal and mostly by-birth involuntarily decided factors like Caste/ Region/ Religion/ language/ mythology still fuels our tender emotions.
Baba log and Neta log use that shrewdly for their own personal/ political ambitions, at the cost of public property and human lives.

N on days like I-day and Republic day, when we as a nation need to introspect, Governments ostensibly use the supreme valor and sacrifices of our brave armed forces to rekindle the tender emotions of high nationalism, thats mostly pertains to mask our basic challenges
A real tribute to all freedom fighters and all those who sacrificed their lives for our country since independence would be to envision and work for the country they dreamed of while laiding down their lives.
I find it okay to take immense pride in our own region/religion/caste/ language/culture.
But should it not be a binding cement with love rather than a tool to divide and discriminate.

This Republic day, why not subdue our caste/region/religion a little to embrace just one identity to trigger our emotion and future choice of revolt..INDIAN!.
